Woke up one day and decided to be out of my active wear and went for something more street and edgy. It’s been a while since I last posted an OOTD on my blog and it’s something that I should do more often. I’ve been wanting to put up tons of content but I can’t find the right time to write about everything and just blog.DenimJacket4DenimJacket2Basically, I wore a black on black outfit and paired it with my trust CDG x Converse sneakers and my new found fave, this denim jacket from Penshoppe. Patches are such a trend and good thing it’s pretty accessible to a lot of style mavens out there.

Let’s take a look back at the past month and check out some of the stuff that I got and became my favorite. Don’t worry because this is going to be a short post about some items that made it to my favorites list for the month of February.

I’m really into denim and this denim from Penshoppe is my new fave. During the shopping event, I laid my eyes on this jacket already and I knew immediately that I’ll be taking it home with me. Don’t you just love the patches attached to it? It just gives it more spunk and a lot of character.

This 2017, I promised myself that I’ll be more conscious with what I eat and always opt for the healthier alternative. I’ve tried this yogurt already when I attended their store opening at SM North EDSA and I loved it the moment I had my first scoop. I’m a big fan of yogurt and this is something new to me, what I like about BLK 513 is their generous amount of toppings per cup. You’ll really feel that it’s worth your money and the quality is simply top-notch.

Just a disclaimer, I wouldn’t go all the way technical with this. I’ll just be sharing my thoughts about these products and why they made it to my favorites list. First, we have the Muscletech’s 100% Platinum Whey. It’s my first time to try this and what I love about it is the taste and the consistency. This whey protein is very easy to mix and does not foam at all. It also aids for faster muscle recovery and backed up with a good amount of protein per serving.

Second item on my list is Nutrabio’s BCAA in watermelon flavor. Recently I discovered how branch chain amino acids help is building the muscle and also with our strength. What I like about this product is the tangy taste from the watermelon flavoring and the effects I’m experiencing with it whenever I have it as my intra-workout drink. Of course, all of these supplements are available at Muscle Shack PH. You may check out their facebook page to know more about their promos and exciting offers.

Mossimo SS17: Coachella x La Isla

March 19, 2017

Get ready to amp up your wardrobe as Mossimo, one of Manila’s favorite casual wear brands, releases their Spring/Summer 2017 collection with the themes of “COACHELLA” and “LA ISLA”.

Taking inspiration from the worldwide-known music festival and the fashion culture that it has given birth to, the first half of Mossimo’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection revolves around relaxed, laidback pieces that are perfect for that almost-bohemian, Coachella-inspired look & lifestyle.

With a dynamic range of pieces and an interesting texture play on weaves and cotton knits, the brand makes it incredibly easy to cop the looks of the always-stylish who populate the crowded festival grounds. From sexy off-shoulder tops, comfortable yet trendy maxi-dresses, funky space dyed polo tops, and your favorite closet staple of denims, the collection, while never compromising quality and wearability, personifies the burst of colors that can only be found in festive music extravaganzas.

The second half of Mossimo’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection is all about the island life. Laid-back, easy-breezy, and highly-reminiscent of the Caribbean scene and vibes, the collection focuses on tropical elements, the abundance of flora & fauna, and the romance found in dusky sunsets by the shore.

With a unique and striking color palette of sand and peach tones, combined with the light & deep blue hues of the sea, key pieces feature dip-dyed cotton shirts, one-shoulder ruffled tops, on-trend stripe and floral prints, and lightweight destructed denim items that will remind one of the enviously chill life beside the oceans.

“Our Spring/Summer 2017 collection is all about the celebration of fashion found in music festivals and in the lusciously cool beaches around the globe,” tells Alex Bautista, Mossimo’s VP for Product. “At Mossimo, we reinforce the belief of following your personal fashion style, be it laid back, edgy or both. We celebrate individuality and we make sure that all the pieces and collections we offer are not only high quality, wearable, and work with and around your personal style, but are also on-trend, cool, and exciting.”

MossimoSS2017-10The new Spring/Summer 2017 collection will be available in all Mossimo stores nationwide. For more information on Mossimo and their latest collections, you may follow WearMossimo on Facebook and Instagram.

I went to Malaysia few weeks ago for a work trip with Air Asia Philippines. It was for an event for #AirAsiaRunway and I had the privilege to be one of PH’s delegates in the event. Since I knew that it’s going to be a fashion event, I decided to contact on of my good blogger x designer friend Yves Camingue.

YVES2YVES3When he showed me this CMNG Admiral Bomber Jacket, I immediately knew how I’d wear this. I want it to be the key piece in my #OOTD so I wore something subtle to make the jacket pop out.

YVES4It was really perfect for me since the design was very athletic and the color was unconventional. It was something that would really catch someone else’s attention. I kept on saying that this jacket was suited for the “Top 3” since it was the color of the gowns worn my Miss Universe’s Top 3 finalists (France, Haiti, and Colombia)
