MISS UNIVERSE 2016 PRELIMINARIES👑🇵🇭❤️

Had the privilege to watch the 65th Miss Universe’s preliminaries and dress rehearsals at the Mall of Asia Arena with my family and friends. It was something for the books that we got to take part (as part of the audience) in this momentous event. Allow me to share some photos that I took during the 2-day event. GO WELL NAMASTE RUN 🙏🏼

The Fit Stop crew went out for another run and this time it’s for Sunlife’s Go Well Namaste Run. It was a Yoga – Run – Yoga event headed by The Bull Runner herself, Ms.Jaymie Pizarro. This event is in line with the Go Well program of Sunlife which promotes health and wellness.

Can running really help you lose weight? Yes running can help you lose weight because running is an aerobic activity. With proper discipline and consistent training or runs, it will really aid to your weight loss. But before you start running here are some things that you should know.

BUY THE RIGHT PAIR OF SHOES

When it comes to fitness, one shoe doesn’t fit all. There are several types of shoes that cater to each and every training/sport and/or exercise. Also, there are a lot of factors to consider in buying the right running shoes. Your feet, your running style, and your goal. Make sure to visit a running store like Runnr to help you decide on what shoes to wear.

– Check the arch of your feet

SPEED OR DISTANCE?

If you’re a first time runner, try to run for at least 20 mins to gauge your endurance.

INJURY PREVENTION & RUN PREPARATION

You need to strengthen your leg muscles before you workout. It is best to perform dynamic stretches before you hit the road and run. Also, it is best to have strength and conditioning exercises to maximize your performance.

MAKE IT FUN

Always have a goal in mind. If you want to run faster or longer, it is best to keep a seemingly impossible goal and exceed yourself. Constantly seek for improvement as you run. Also, having friends to run with you is always a great idea.
